Description

The Therma V R290 Monobloc S is an air-to-water heat pump entirely contained within its outdoor unit. Circulator, plate heat exchanger, 8-litre expansion vessel, safety valve, air vents and sensors are already assembled, and the controller is included. No indoor module is required: only a water pipe and an electrical connection enter the building.

Performance

This 16 kW three-phase version is the most powerful in the range, delivering 16.00 kW at +7 °C with a flow temperature of 35 °C and a COP of 4.40. It produces water up to 75 °C, operates down to -25 °C ambient temperature and maintains 13.50 kW at -7 °C.

Energy Efficiency

The natural refrigerant R290, with a global warming potential of just 0.02, achieves an A+++ rating at 35 °C and A++ at 55 °C, with seasonal efficiency of 189 % and a SCOP of 4.80.

Installation

The three-phase connection requires a 16 A circuit breaker compared to 32 A for single-phase, which often eliminates the need for electrical panel upgrades at this power level. Its sound power of 59 dB(A) warrants consideration of placement when installing in properties sharing walls.
