Terms and conditions
1. Scope
These terms govern every sale made on thermolys.com to customers in a European Union member state.
2. Prices and VAT
Prices are in euros, inclusive of VAT for consumers. The VAT rate is that of the delivery country under the intra-EU distance selling rules, declared through the OSS one-stop shop. The rate appears in your basket as soon as you choose your country. Recupel and Bebat contributions are shown separately.
3. Orders
An order is firm once you confirm the summary and accept these terms.
4. Payment
Payment is by bank transfer. Orders unpaid after ten days are cancelled automatically.
5. Delivery
Stated lead times are indicative and run from receipt of payment. Pallet deliveries are scheduled by phone.
6. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have 14 days from delivery to withdraw and a further 14 days to return the goods. Return costs are yours, per the estimate on the product page.
7. Guarantee
Two-year legal guarantee of conformity.
8. Installation
Unless stated otherwise the price covers the equipment only. Installation is offered through our partner network and quoted separately.
9. Reduced VAT rate
From 1 January 2026 until 31 December 2030, the supply and installation of a heat pump — including reversible air-to-air units — carries the Belgian 6 % rate whatever the age of the dwelling, provided the appliance and the installation appear on a single invoice issued by the same contractor. An appliance ordered on its own is invoiced at the standard 21 % rate.
10. Appliances pre-charged with fluorinated gases
EU Regulation 2024/573 reserves the commissioning of pre-charged, non-hermetically-sealed equipment to certified companies. We sell these appliances to an end user only where proof of certified installation is provided: either you order installation from our network, or you give us the name and certificate number of your own installer when ordering. These details are kept for five years, as the rules require.
11. Liability
Our liability is limited to the order value.
12. Governing law
Belgian law.
